Scottish Refugee Council is an independent human rights charity that has been supporting and advocating for the rights of refugees since 1985. Our work involves the provision of services and support to refugees, advocating and campaigning for change and improvements to legislation and policy in Scotland and the UK, often working in programme partnership with other organisations for the same goal.
We have new exciting opportunity to join our organisation to support current senior management resource, and enable dedicated focus on critical senior level partnerships. The role is responsible for the management, maintenance and development of key external relationships and the management of Ukraine Project Coordinator. The role will include taking a cross organisational approach to lead, direct and deliver existing and new initiatives aimed at achieving better outcomes for refugees through productive and effective partnership working.
The role will hold strategic responsibility for the Ukraine scheme and lead on all relevant relationships associated with this work. The post holder will work collaboratively with SMT and in particular include their expertise, profile and authority in key relationship and decision making.
