Central Scotland Regional Equality Council (CSREC) was established to eradicate all forms of discrimination under the Race Relations Act 1976. We are based in Stirling and work across Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling Council areas.
How we can help:
Support & advice service
We offer free, impartial, and confidential support to ethnic minority communities in Central Scotland. We assist with issues like accessing public services, welfare benefits, housing, employment, discrimination, and hate crime reporting. Language support is available if needed.
Third-party reporting centre
We understand the lasting impact of hate crime. Our team can help you report it to Police Scotland, whether you’re a victim, witness, or carer.
Immigration assistance
Our OISC Level 1 Immigration Advisors provide assistance with immigration issues, including asylum, protection, and the EU Settlement Scheme.
Language café
Join our informal, free Language Café to practise English in a supportive environment, meet new people, and build confidence.
Events & workshops
We offer free workshops and events throughout the year to provide skills development, reduce social isolation, and foster community connections.
Training & consultancy
CSREC helps ethnic minority communities overcome challenges and tackle discrimination. Our tailored training for organisations and groups covers topics like Anti-Racism, Unconscious Bias, Hate Crime, Islamophobia, and Equality & Inclusion.
