  • Voluntary Action Orkney (VAO) is dedicated to supporting the voluntary sector and social enterprises in creating resilient, sustainable, and inclusive communities. Our experienced staff are available to provide advice, information, and guidance, supporting your group every step of the way.

    We can also help connect adults and young people with volunteering opportunities, and we offer additional support for those who may need extra confidence to get started. Additionally, we run Befriending services for both older adults and young people in Orkney.
