Some of Scottish comedy’s brightest stars are coming together to show their support for refugees.

Next month’s Nae Borders comedy night will raise money for the vital work of Scottish Refugee Council in supporting people seeking safety across the country.

The host for the evening will be award-winning comedian Mark Nelson, and joining him is a who’s who of comedy talent, including: ex-SNP MP Mhairi Black, fan favourite Susie McCabe, rising star Kim Blythe, human rights advocate Sid Singh, social media sensation Paul Black, surreal storyteller Marjolein Robertson and critically-acclaimed Christopher MacArthur-Boyd.

“Now more than ever it is important to show solidarity”

Talking about the event, Mhairi Black said: “The work of the Scottish Refugee Council is important enough in and of itself, but particularly given the current political climate, now more than ever it is important to show solidarity with one of the most welcoming organisations we have, and I’m chuffed to be asked to take part.”

Taking place at Glasgow’s Glee Club on the 13th November, this stellar line-up is not one to miss.

With the two previous Nae Borders comedy nights selling out fast, don’t miss your chance to enjoy the best of Scotland’s comedy scene while raising money for an important cause.
