Will you write to your MP asking them to choose compassion, not cruelty this winter?

We’ve launched an urgent campaign calling for change in response to the Home Secretary’s sweeping new immigration proposals. Her plans, which have been praised by Tommy Robinson and Nigel Farage, undermine the basic principles of a humane asylum system.

Please write to your MP asking them to oppose these harsh reforms.

The debate around asylum in the UK is becoming increasingly toxic, not because of differing views, but because of the dehumanising language now used to discuss people seeking safety. This dangerous and harmful rhetoric is normalising extremism and creating division in our communities.

It is putting men, women and children who have fled war and persecution – and those who welcome them – at risk.

At this critical moment, politicians from all parities need to hear that their constituents expect leadership grounded in humanity, not fear.

Take action today. Ask your MP to reject the Home Secretary’s proposals and call for an asylum system we can have confidence in. One that is controlled, compassionate and rooted in dignity, due process and common sense.
