In response to the growing housing crisis, we’re holding free information sessions for people struggling to find accommodation after getting refugee status in Scotland.
The sessions, delivered as part of our Refugee Support Service, will be led by our expert advisors.
We will cover:

The homelessness process

Housing rights and options

The role of the Local Authority
-
Choosing where to live
-
Housing Associations
-
Renting from private landlords.
Interpreters will be on hand to share information in multiple languages. There will also be opportunities to ask questions and find out more about how Scottish Refugee Council supports people seeking safety.
When:

29 May, 10:00-12:00 – in Arabic, Kurdish Sorani and Tigrinya

25 June, 14:00-16:00 – in Arabic, Kurdish Sorani and Farsi

24 July, 10:00-12:00 – in Arabic, Kurdish Sorani and another language (tbc)
