In response to the growing housing crisis, we’re holding free information sessions for people struggling to find accommodation after getting refugee status in Scotland.

Refugees who are living in unsuitable temporary accommodation or experiencing homelessness can join our expert advisors online to find out more about:

  • The homelessness process
  • Housing rights and options
  • The role of the Local Authority
  • Choosing where to live
  • Housing Associations
  • Renting from private landlords.
Interpreters will be on hand to share information in multiple languages. There will also be opportunities to ask questions and find out more about how Scottish Refugee Council supports people seeking safety.

Dates, times and languages:

  • Wednesday, 3 September, 14:00-16:00 (Arabic, English and Kurdish Sorani)
