Scottish Refugee Council is Scotland’s national refugee charity. We provide advice and support to people seeking refugee protection in Scotland and campaign for a fair and humane asylum system. We have an exciting opportunity to for an experienced Fundraising Manager.
The opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Engagement and Fundraising Officer (CEFO) to join the SRC team. As the CEFO, you will engage with a range of corporate organisations and partners across the UK, building mutually beneficial relationships, with the aim of maximising income to support SRC’s work with refugees in Scotland. You will be supported by the Fundraising Manager to implement a rolling programme of researching new business engagement and giving opportunities. You will work to develop and deliver pitches, plan and coordinate partner stewardship journeys, and manage your accounts to generate income as per agreed targets. The CEFO should have the ability to deliver a corporate strategy, including meeting agreed targets and objectives. Experience in business-to-business engagement and an ability to broker partnerships is a critical skill for this role. You should have a proven ability in achieving income targets as well as a track record of effective prospect research. You should have experience in copywriting and marketing across a number of channels including social media, print and broadcast media
