Behind the Lens

The theme of LGBT+ History Month 2023 is “Behind the Lens”, celebrating the contributions of LGBT+ people to cinema and film, including everybody working behind the scenes.

We asked our team to share films and TV shows which tell stories of LGBT+ people who have sought safety from persecution, fled their homes and/or are trying to get by in a new country.

This list is definitely non-exhaustive and we’d love to add any other suggestions!
