Our activities include:
- Support services
We offer one-to-one advice and information sessions to help newly arrived Ukrainians navigate housing, healthcare, education, and other essential services in Scotland.
- English language classes
We provide free English lessons at different levels (A1–B1), helping individuals improve their communication skills, boost confidence, and enhance their ability to work or study in the UK.
- Cultural and social events
AUGB Glasgow regularly organises cultural celebrations, music performances, film screenings, art workshops, and heritage festivals that help people feel connected and reduce isolation.
- Mental health and well-being
We run women’s support groups, art therapy sessions, and creative activities (e.g., sewing and painting clubs), which offer emotional relief, promote self-expression, and foster a sense of belonging.
- Children’s activities
We provide safe, inclusive spaces for children to take part in creative sessions, play, and learn, while their parents attend language classes or support groups.
Our activities are held in both English and Ukrainian. To find out more, please get in touch.
