Children First offers holistic support for BAME families, helping parents and carers overcome barriers to learning, training, and employment. We support children and young people aged 8–18 and their families, tailoring our approach to meet individual needs.
Our services include:
- one-to-one support
- whole-family support
- group activities
- delivered in homes, communities, or other comfortable settings
Families also have access to our confidential support line (08000 28 22 33).
Support is flexible to people’s needs, helping families improve health and wellbeing, develop parenting skills, strengthen financial resilience, and increase positive participation in school.
By working in partnership with CHAI, Link Net, Volunteering Matters, and Passion4Fusion, we offer a “no wrong door” approach, ensuring families access all necessary services without multiple referrals.

We use translators to support our families.
