City of Sanctuary

City of Sanctuary UK is a charity that coordinates, supports, and expands networks of welcome for people seeking protection in the UK.

We operate as an umbrella organisation, providing resources, information, and peer support opportunities to groups and organisations affiliated with our network.

We also oversee the delivery of Sanctuary Awards, which encourage organisations – including schools, universities, colleges, theatres, libraries, museums, and many others – to develop sustainable good practices in engaging with people seeking sanctuary.

City of Sanctuary UK is dedicated to movement building through partnerships and by supporting advocacy and campaigning initiatives.

We maintain strong relationships with other organisations in the refugee sector and are always open to exploring collaborative opportunities with colleagues.
