Edinburgh Remakery is a social enterprise and community hub for repair and reuse. Our goal is to make repair education open to everyone, build a stronger, waste-free community, and support people in need in our city.
We repair donated IT equipment, stopping it from becoming waste and giving it a new life. As well as reducing waste, we help people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Through our Tech Gifting programme, we tackle digital poverty by giving people the tools they need for success in today’s digital world. This helps them access important resources, educational opportunities, and stay connected with loved ones.
Every Friday from 11am-1pm, we run free drop-in repair cafés, where our expert tutors show people how to repair IT items like laptops, computers, phones, and even fix clothes.
Our monthly Community Clubs are a chance to meet others, join in creative activities, learn new skills, or simply enjoy time together in a safe and friendly space with coffee and cake!
