The Edinburgh Remakery is a social enterprise and a community repair and reuse hub. Our mission is to make repair education accessible and inclusive, to build a stronger, waste-free community, and support vulnerable people within our city. We refurbish second-hand furniture and IT equipment, rescuing them from becoming waste and giving them a new lease of life.
We run regular workshops in repair skills, arts and crafts, including upholstery, sewing, bookbinding, woodwork skills, furniture upcycling, eco-printing, and more. All of which can be found and booked on our website at www.edinburghremakery.org.uk/learn/workshops.
We also run a free drop-in repair evening every Thursday from 4:30 pm where our expert tutors teach others the skills to repair broken clothing, textiles, and IT items, such as laptops, computers, and phones.
