Interfaith Glasgow is a Scottish charity dedicated to promoting and facilitating engagement among various faith and belief communities in Glasgow, aiming to create a better-connected, safer, and more harmonious city for all. Our Weekend Club Project seeks to provide enjoyable, free activities for individuals from refugee backgrounds during the weekend—a time when many ‘New Scots’ experience loneliness and isolation. Weekend Club events occur once a month, supported by an interfaith team of volunteers and assistance from Glasgow’s diverse communities. These events aim to help newcomers build social connections and foster a deeper understanding of Glasgow and Scotland.
