Movement in Thyme is a grassroots non-profit group dedicated to fostering sustainable, resilient communities, enhancing mental and physical wellbeing, and reducing social isolation through community herbal workshops, movement activities, gardening, and social justice events.
We work in solidarity with refugees and marginalised groups both in Scotland and internationally.
Stirling Herbal Group
Our monthly herbal group in Stirling is designed for New Scots and the local community to learn about creating herbal remedies and promoting wellbeing. It provides a safe space for socialising, supporting New Scots in improving their English, and reducing social isolation for individuals in Stirling. The group also features a pop-up Community Apothecary, offering a variety of herbal remedies to take away.
Falkirk Men’s Gardening Group
We collaborate with the Falkirk asylum seekers’ men’s accommodation and Friends of Scottish Settlers (FOSS) to bring a group to our herbal garden each month, where we also provide herbal remedies to them.
All welcome!
