Music Broth is Scotland’s Musical Instrument Library, home to over three thousand instruments. We restore, reuse, or repurpose donated instruments, saving them from landfill and giving them a new lease of life through our community sharing library.
But that’s just the beginning. Our inclusive, welcoming spaces make music accessible to everyone. We offer musical opportunities through workshops, jam sessions, events, and volunteering at our friendly library hubs and outreach locations in Edinburgh, Fort William, and Stornoway.
As a social enterprise and charity, all our funds are dedicated to spreading the joy of music across Scotland. We support people of all ages and backgrounds, including seasoned musicians, beginners, those facing financial hardship, physical or mental health challenges, homelessness, or anyone newly arrived in Scotland, such as refugees and asylum seekers. Everyone is welcome!
