Lainé is a seasoned senior manager and executive in IT and telecommunications, currently working in the higher education sector. With over 15 years of management experience in designing, implementing, and operating large-scale transformation projects in complex organisations, she has a proven track record in strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, audit and risk, policy and governance, and inspiring excellence.

Lainé returned to Scotland with her family in 2019, and encountered multiple hurdles in her journey to do so. Dismayed at how complex immigration had become, she developed a strong sense of devotion to helping to make the transition easier for others.
