Steve McManus

Steve McManus is a dedicated fundraising professional with over 20 years of experience in the third sector. He has successfully led teams to achieve significant fundraising targets, both in the UK and internationally, while working with prominent charities such as Cancer Research UK, Maggie’s Centres, and Action for Children.

Steve’s passion for international development and poverty alleviation has been a driving force throughout his career. With a decade-long involvement on the board of a major food bank, where he currently serves as Chair, he has gained valuable first-hand experience of the challenges posed by food insecurity in the UK. Additionally, Steve has spent time in Rwanda and Zambia during his role as Head of Fundraising at SCIAF, part of the global Caritas network, broadening his perspective on development issues.
