On this page you will find a list of some organisations that may be able to offer advice, information or support while you are going through the asylum process.
Asylum Support Appeal Project (ASAP)
ASAP offers free legal representation and advice to asylum seekers and refused asylum seekers appealing against Home Office decisions to refuse or withdraw their housing, financial subsistence, or both. ASAP also offers training and second-tier advice to practitioners supporting asylum seekers.

Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants
JCWI advocate for the rights and welfare of migrants, represent people at all stages of the asylum and immigration process, and provide advice, resources and training. They run a confidential advice helpline for irregular migrants without legal status.

Rainbow Migration
Rainbow Migration supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and intersex (LGBTQI+) people through the asylum and immigration system. Most of their support services are based in England, but you may find the resources on their website useful.

Right to Remain
Right to Remain provide information, resources, training and assistance to help people navigate the UK asylum and immigration system. Their resources include:
- The Young Asylum Guide is a guide to the process of applying for asylum as a young person under 18.
- The Right to Remain toolkit is a highly detailed guide to the UK immigration and asylum system with a lot of practical advice.
Scottish Guardianship Service
Provides information, advice, advocacy support and a Guardian for unaccompanied child refugees and child victims of human trafficking.
