New Scots Drop-in Hub
We run a weekly drop-in for New Scots, providing advice and support on issues such as housing, health, education and employment. People can also practice their English with others through our Sharing Lives, Sharing Languages project which runs at the same time as the drop-in. Based on issues identified by New Scots we have also organised a series of information talks. For example, we've hosted speakers from Business Gateway who spoke about how to start your own business, and Police Scotland on driving and legalities, as well as a session from the local college on further education opportunities. Our focus at the moment is on improving digital skills.
