Refugee Futures

‘Help refugees build a safer, brighter future in Scotland’

Refugees arrive in Scotland with little more than their hopes and dreams for a safer, brighter future.  By supporting our Refugee Futures Campaign, you can give more than 1,000 men, women and children the practical and emotional support they need to rebuild their lives in Scotland.

how your support will help:

Children and Families – Did you know that over half the world’s refugees are children? Poverty and uncertainty make life extremely difficult for refugee children in Scotland. Our Family Keywork Service works with more than 180 children and their parents. We provide advice and information on healthcare, schools and nurseries and help families create social connections with their new community.

Refugee Integration – Our caseworkers support over 550 families through our pioneering New Scots Refugee Integration Service.  Our intensive, rights-based support helps new families access services, develop skills and begin to build a positive and sustainable future in Scotland.

Destitution – We believe destitution is unacceptable. In 2017 our Destitute Asylum Seeker Service, delivered in partnership with Refugee Survival Trust, supported 174 people through the hardship of destitution.  The number of destitute people in Scotland is set to increase in 2018. With your help we can continue to provide advice, information and practical support to help people find a route out of destitution and the chance to build a better future in Scotland.

Support #RefugeeFutures today and help refugees build a safer, brighter future in Scotland.

Thank you.
