As we get ready for this year’s Refugee Festival Scotland we are pleased to launch Scottish Refugee Council’s new strategic plan (2017 -2020). This plan will guide and shape our work as we continue to support refugees in Scotland and advocate for people’s rights.

Our new strategic plan sets out our vision for Scotland as a place in which all people seeking refugee protection are welcome; a place where everyone’s rights and dignity are respected and where people are able to achieve their full potential as they rebuild their lives.

The plan describes  what we will do over the next three years as we work towards this goal..

Over the course of the last year we consulted widely with our staff, volunteers, members, supporters, refugee communities and key external stakeholders on what areas of work we should be prioritising over the next three years.

We are grateful to everyone who contributed their thoughts and insights during the consultation process and look forward to working with our many partners over the next period.
