Dr. Dominique Nduhura is a communication and media specialist, with a PhD in Communication and a Master’s Degree in Culture and Media Studies.
He has had a long academic career in journalism and communication spanning 20 years. During this time he was immersed in various fields including development communication, citizen journalism, and data journalism.
Dr. Nduhura brings to Scottish Refugee Council’s Board a mastery of the connection between digital media and society, which he acquired through the studies of digital migration of women in East Asian countries.
He has a keen interest in volunteering activities to assist vulnerable communities, especially in media literacy. He currently works as a Digital Volunteer for “Digi-PALS project”, a media technology literacy project run by Glasgow Life.
