The Stop Lock Change Evictions coalition is seeking volunteers to cover a helpline seeking to provide 24/7 rapid access telephone support to people who are imminently facing the risk of eviction from their homes due to Serco’s lock change policy.

We are also looking for individuals who would be willing to form part of a rapid response team of legal observers who could attend a person’s home to provide support if an eviction appears to be underway, or who would be willing to create a controlled presence outside the home, but nearby, in the same circumstances.

The coalition is aware that volunteers require support in order to carry out these duties safely and effectively, and also that you might like to receive more information about the various roles, and what might be required.

Therefore, we are inviting all individuals interested in volunteering to attend a mandatory workshop / training session:

Saturday 7 September 2019 from 11am – 1pm at location TBC Central Glasgow

To book a space and note your interest in volunteering, please contact: or message 075 4330 4162.

Thank you!
