We are delighted to announce that Scottish Refugee Council begins a new chapter today with the appointment of our new Chief Executive, Sabir Zazai.
Sabir has a distinguished track record in the refugee sector where he has dedicated many years to working for positive change and supporting people and communities.
Most recently Sabir was Director of the Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre, a vibrant charity that provides practical help, advice, support and friendship to thousands of people in the West Midlands.
He joins us at a busy time for Scottish Refugee Council and we look forward to introducing him to our friends and colleagues in the refugee community in Scotland and across the third sector.
